Joshua’s path to victory
Anthony Joshua has been told the only way he can beat Tyson Fury is to knock him clean out.
Joshua returned to the ring last weekend with a second-round stoppage of Kristian Prenga, but only after twice being knocked down himself in the opening session. Twenty four hours earlier, Fury stopped Mariusz Wach in his own warm-up fight to set up a clash with Joshua later this year.

And former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew believes Joshua will have to flatten Fury to to win.
“There’s never been a better time to beat Tyson Fury,” Bellew told Fight Your Corner, in partnership with Midnite. “Eighteen months ago, Fury is an overwhelming favourite. He is the one who doesn't want to have a straight up fight with you, he's the one who wants to box you. “And the best way to beat a boxer is, well, it is to just get rid of them, and I think that's Anthony Joshua 's best chance. If this fight goes to points, Anthony Joshua loses. Anthony Joshua has to win by knockout to win this fight, in my opinion. Let's be brutally honest, he's not going to out-box Tyson Fury.”
Venue talk and Bellew’s view
Fury's clash with Joshua as yet has no venue or date and could head to New York to satisfy Netflix's demand for a prime-time US audience.
Bellew has been outspoken about the prospect of the showdown being moved from London, and added:
“Listen, the top and bottom of it is, is I'd understand it if it was going to Saudi because they're paying for the fight. “What I don't like and don't understand is why it's going to the US. Why take a British fight and put it in America because no one cares in America? And I know I went a bit far when I said American boxing's been dead since Evander Holyfield. I was talking about the heavyweight division. “Terence Crawford's amazing. I'm a fan of Terence Crawford, a brilliant fella, an amazing fighter, but let's just be brutally honest here, you've had the WBC heavyweight champion of the world for nearly a decade. He could walk down the street and be unrecognised, no one cared. After the Klitschkos took rein and dominated an era, American heavyweight boxing is just forgotten about, and it is right now. “Now the people who are bringing it to life is Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. American boxing public don't care about Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. This is me now putting in layman's terms for everyone to understand, they don't care. So why should the fight go there? No one's going to be paying to want to come and see Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The American public aren't doing it.”
