The British boxing giants are 'almost certain' to face off in the US, per Sports Illustrated, with Madison Square Garden set to be the destination. Netflix are said to have steered the bout Stateside, and the streamer could yet pick a shock day for fight to take place.
UK broadcast norms could be thrown out of the window with a rejection of the usual Saturday night schedule. Instead, a Friday night is being targeted by the streaming service. November 20 is being touted as a potential date for the fight in a bid to avoid any clash with College Football, it is claimed. Netflix have veered from its Friday slot just once, when Terence Crawford defeated Canelo Alvarez almost 12 months ago.
Speaking following his win over Wach, Fury, 37, suggested he didn't know where the fight would take place. The former world champion outlined a number of potential destinations.
