Anthony Joshua faces Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia as he targets a Tyson Fury showdown, with Hamzah Sheeraz, Josh Kelly and others also on the card.

Joshua returns with Fury showdown in sight

Anthony Joshua will look to make his highly-anticipated fight with Tyson Fury official by beating Kristian Prenga later this evening.

The former two-time heavyweight world champion saw his long-time rival Fury get the job done on Friday night after he forced Mariusz Wach to quit on his stool in their behind closed doors encounter in Thailand.

Now, all eyes are on Joshua to see how he fares on his return to the ring. Providing 'AJ' comes away unscathed, he will trade leather with Fury later this year.

While an official date or venue is yet to be announced, the pair are expected to fight in November.

But unknown heavyweight Prenga will look to spoil the party over in Saudi Arabia. The 35-year-old Albanian has not fought at the top level, but truly believes he has the power to stop Joshua.

Joshua heads the bill in Saudi Arabia

Anthony Joshua is back for the first time since his destructive six-round knockout victory over YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

The former two-time heavyweight champion was due to return back in March but was involved in a tragic car crash just days after his win over Paul.

While many assumed he would retire, the Brit is back for one last run.

The 36-year-old will take on unknown heavyweight Kristian Prenga - with the Albanian vowing to score a monumental upset.

Playing chief support tonight, British star Hamzah Sheeraz will defend his WBO super middleweight title for the first time against Simon Zachenhuber.

Sheeraz, 27, picked up the title in dominant fashion after knocking out Alem Begic in the second round at the Pyramids of Giza back in May.

Many were left stunned after Zachenhuber was awarded a crack at the title soon after his shock defeat to Pawel August, but the German will be itching to show why he is one of the best in the division with a huge upset in Jeddah.

Josh Kelly knows he is in for a tough test this evening when he defends his IBF light-middleweight title for the first time against Caoimhin Agyarko.

Sunderland native Kelly showed real heart en route to defeating Bakhram Murtazaliev for the coveted gold strap earlier this year.

But undefeated Irishman Agyarko will not go down without a fight as he has aspirations of snatching Kelly's coveted prize away from him.

23-year-old super-featherweight contender Reito Tsutsumi is a real star in the making.

After a glittering amateur career, the undefeated Japanese sensation turned pro last year and has taken to the professional ranks like a duck to water - winning three of his first four fights by way of knockout.

But he faces a tough step up in competition against the hard-hitting Alvino Herrera Meza.

Pawel August returns for the first time since picking up a huge upset win over Simon Zachenhuber back in April, and in doing so, handing him his first career defeat.

The Taunton native has put his name on the map and has earned a real opportunity to go one step closer to a crack at the title, but faces a tough test in the shape of undefeated star Jacob Bank.

Young Indian Nishant Dev will be looking to keep his undefeated record intact later this evening when he meets Cesar Diaz.

The 25-year-old super-welterweight star is fresh off a destructive knockout victory over Juan Carlos Guerra Jr in Las Vegas, and will be eager to put on a show as he heads to Saudi Arabia for the first time in his career.

For Diaz, he will be itching to get back to winning ways after dropping a points defeat to Hector Beltran in his last appearance in the ring.
