Chris Eubank Jr eyed for Africa comeback
Chris Eubank Jr is being lined up for a return to the ring in Africa. The son of a legend has not fought since he lost his rematch with Conor Benn last November and has since undergone treatment for medical issues he believed affected him in the build-up to the sequel and in the fight itself.

Eubank Jr has also become a dad to twins. He recently travelled to Nigeria to hold talks over a return to the ring and Balmoral Promotions chief Dr Ezekiel Adamu expects to announce a groundbreaking fight.

Chris loves legacy, and he understands him fighting in Africa is going to be a huge legacy for Africa.
The fight we have for him is actually going to be the biggest fight in the history of African pay-per-view. I mean, it's going to be way bigger than the Rumble in the Jungle was 50 years ago.
Chris is excited about that; when he came to Nigeria, he met the President of Nigeria and he met top sponsors who assured him that they're fully behind this happening. We've spoken with DAZN who are excited to jump on it and we are having similar conversations with Netflix as well. It's still in the works but we should have a date and an announcement coming soon.
Meanwhile, Dr Adamu is confident his outfit can finally help realise the potential Africa has in combat sports.
Africa has always produced the talent over the years, but we've never had our own proper platform where world-class talent and African talent can actually converge

Africa is a population of about 1.4 billion people, and out of that 1.4 billion, about 75 to 80 per cent are between the ages of 15 to 30. So, it's the youngest demographic of youth in the world . Africa is genetically built for sports generally, but we've never had a proper platform, and what Balmoral Group is doing is providing that platform for Africa and for Africans.
