The 2026 Professional Darts Corporation season has delivered a year of dominance from Luke Littler, who claimed the World Championship at the start of the year and went on to capture the Premier League and World Matchplay among numerous other titles. His rival Luke Humphries has also enjoyed significant success, triumphing at the World Grand Prix, whilst Gerwyn Price, Gian van Veen and a host of other elite players have competed for honours throughout the calendar.

Littler now stands on the brink of an unprecedented achievement. He requires just five more major titles to complete a clean sweep of every significant PDC tournament in a single calendar year—a feat never before accomplished in professional darts. With six majors already secured, the world number one faces a demanding schedule that includes the World Series of Darts Finals, Grand Prix, European Championship, Grand Slam and Players Championship Finals.

The next major event on the horizon is the European Championship, scheduled for October 22–25 in Dortmund. This tournament represents a crucial stepping stone in Littler's quest for history, offering him another opportunity to add to his already impressive tally.
