United secure new multi-year deal
Manchester United have struck a multi-year sponsorship deal worth £20million per season with Betway.
The gambling company will be visible on United's training kit and around Old Trafford on matchdays as part of the deal, which covers the men's and women's teams.
The Premier League giants went the 2025/26 campaign without a training kit sponsor and are delighted to have changed that ahead of the new season kicking off.
Despite being worth less than their previous deal with blockchain company Tezos, which brought in £24m-a-season, United are delighted with a deal bigger than any other standalone training kit or playing shirt sleeve deals in world football.
Marc Armstrong, chief business officer at United, said:
“The scale of our exciting new partnership reflects our growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of Manchester United, and our ability to attract leading brands that want to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.”
The sponsorship will run alongside United's £60m-a-season sponsorship deal with electronics company Snapdragon, who will continue to be displayed on the front of their shirts.

As Nick Harvey from the Coalition to End Gambling Ads (CEGA) told Mirror Football:
“With tens of thousands of ads still plastered across stadiums, shirt sleeves and the media, removing shirt-front logos is already just a gesture.”
While six top-flight clubs have been able to swap out their previous gambling deals for non-gambling front-of-shirt sponsors, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are currently set to begin the campaign without a sponsor, having been unable to strike a deal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also sponsor-less after their short-term deal with AI company IFS expired.
