Arsenal and Tottenham rebuffed over Kroupi
Arsenal and Tottenham have been told by Bournemouth that there is no chance of Eli Junior Kroupi being sold this summer despite mounting interest.
The 20-year-old is the latest gem to be uncovered by the Cherries, who continue to find unknown quantities in the market before they become big hits. Kroupi has just hit 13 goals in a breakout Premier League season, which has put a number of clubs on alert.
Bournemouth have nailed their colours to the mast and The iPaper reports they will not sanction a move this window - even if £100million is put on the table. They maintain that his asking price will be significantly more in 2027 – when they will listen to offers for him.
The south coast side recently secured European football for the first time and have told Kroupi, as well as other leading lights Alex Scott, Rayan and Adrien Truffert, that they will not be allowed to leave.
Bournemouth insist key men will stay
Last term Kroupi became the first teenager to score at least 10 goals in his maiden Premier League season since Robbie Keane for Coventry in 1999/2000.
