Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits he'd "love Vinicius Jnr to stay forever" as Arsenal look to seize on the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation.

Talks between Arsenal and Real haven't taken place, reports the Athletic, but the La Liga giants may have to cash in on Vinicius if there's a risk of seeing him leave on a free transfer in 2027.
The report adds that the winger would be due a significant loyalty bonus next season, having been at the Bernabeu for eight years.
Arsenal have not made any bid yet but it is understood that Jose Mourinho, who has just returned to Real last year after having a public spat with Vinicius, would oppose Arsenal signing the forward this summer - he wants all his big names to stay.

Vinicius is understood to be on about £400,000 per week and signing a player on that type of wage would represent a huge shift for Arsenal, who so far have not signed a world class individual of that ilk.
