Inter Milan have reached a £30m agreement with Tottenham to sign England full-back Djed Spence, according to Sky Sports News.
Sky Sports News understands the arrangement includes a 10 per cent sell-on clause, giving Spurs a further cut should Inter later sell the player on for a profit.
Spence was granted permission to fly to Italy for a medical while the two clubs finalised terms, and a complete package worth £30m has now been agreed.
According to Goal, Inter and Tottenham have since moved beyond talks to a full agreement, with the transfer now being described as done rather than simply in negotiation. The same report indicates the initial payment could actually sit at €31.5m, with add-ons potentially pushing the total to €35m, alongside the 10 per cent sell-on clause already reported.
Spence was among England's standout performers as the Three Lions finished third at this summer's World Cup, but his path to regular football at Spurs looked increasingly blocked. Pedro Porro remains first-choice on the right, while Destiny Udogie, Andy Robertson, Souza and Ben Davies all offer competition on the left.
Inter had been hunting for a fresh option at right-wing-back and switched their focus to Spence after failing to land Al Ittihad's Moussa Diaby.
Contract details vary slightly between reports. Sky Sports News states Spence had three years left on his Tottenham deal, with an option for a further year. However, The Guardian reports that Spence actually signed a new four-year contract at Spurs at the start of last season, a different account of his current terms.
Despite the uncertainty over his exact contract length, Spence is understood to be keen on the switch, having relished a six-month loan spell at Genoa in Italy from January 2024.

Spurs originally brought Spence in from Middlesbrough for a fee worth up to £20m in July 2022. According to ESPN, Inter's pursuit of Spence stems from their broader need to strengthen at right-back or right-wing-back, having explored other targets before settling on the Tottenham man.

Per Sports Mole, Spence is expected to undergo his medical in Milan before the move can be formally completed. Goal reports the medical was scheduled for Friday, with Spence already in Italy to complete the process.
