Dan Skelton's six-year-old has enjoyed a productive summer, winning his last three starts with impressive displays. He carries a three-pound advantage on these terms and appears difficult to oppose. Ryan Hatch saddles Emerald Time as the horse makes his debut for his new yard. The gelding proved a convincing winner at Uttoxeter on his final start for previous trainer Dom Elsworth. According to Racing Post results, Emerald Time had already demonstrated winning form at Worcester earlier in the summer, which explains why a return to the track was considered a positive move.
