Saturday brings a jam-packed programme of Flat racing, with meetings at Deauville, Doncaster, Lingfield, Newbury and Ripon all broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing.
The feature contest of the afternoon is Newbury's Group Two Visit Malta Hungerford Stakes, where Never So Brave and Coppull emerge as the two horses to beat in a fiercely competitive line-up.
Hungerford Stakes shapes up as a cracking contest
According to At The Races, the Visit Malta Hungerford Stakes is due off at 15:10, retains its Group Two status and has attracted nine declared runners.
Never So Brave boasts the deepest reserves of top-level form in the field. Andrew Balding's gelding enjoyed a golden run last season, landing the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot before adding the Summer Mile and rounding things off with victory in the City Of York Stakes. This year has yet to yield a win from four starts, but he has been racing in strong company throughout and was far from disgraced when tackling the Sussex Stakes last time out. He looks capable of a bold showing once again.
Coppull remains a relatively unexposed performer and hit a career-high level of form when running fourth of 11 in the July Cup, finishing his race strongly having been beaten only narrowly. He steps up to seven furlongs for the first time in his career today, and there is a sense that further improvement could still be to come.
Symbol Of Honour, like Coppull, is stepping up to this distance, not having tackled it since his opening start as a three-year-old. He carries an excellent record at Newbury, having won on both of his previous appearances at the course, the most eye-catching of those being his Group Three Hackwood Stakes success last time out.
William Haggas's Extremely Zain arrived at the International Handicap at Ascot with an unbeaten record and was sent off a short-priced favourite to extend that sequence, yet could only finish fourth. He remains a horse with plenty still to prove and could take a step forward from that run in this contest.

Dubai Honour returns to open the Newbury card
The afternoon's opening contest at Newbury, the Highclere Thoroughbred Racing Geoffrey Freer Stakes at 1.25, sees the well-travelled Dubai Honour take on five rivals on his return to action.
Trained by William Haggas, the gelding has been a hugely reliable servant to his connections, racking up 12 wins from 37 career starts, four of them at Group One level, and banking prize money in excess of £5 million along the way. His most recent outing came back in April, when he ran a credible fourth in the Group One Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
Mount Atlas and Tabletalk look set to renew their rivalry for a fourth time, having already clashed on three previous occasions. Mount Atlas holds the upper hand in that head-to-head, having got the better of Tabletalk twice, but he is three pounds worse off at the weights here after edging out his rival in a thrilling finish to the John Smith's Silver Cup.
Gamrai continues to look unexposed after being narrowly denied in the Copper Horse Stakes at Royal Ascot. He has since changed hands, purchased by Victorious Forever and switching yards from John and Thady Gosden to George Scott, and there could well be more improvement in him under his new connections.
Rebel Rocket is the sole three-year-old in the field and steps up in distance for his fourth career start having last been seen finishing sixth in the Derby. He is worth including in calculations.
Great St Wilfrid promises an open finish at Ripon
Over at Ripon, the William Hill/MND Association Great St Wilfrid Handicap at 3.25 looks set to be its usual wide-open affair, with Fast Track Harry, Lord Roxby and Dark Cloud Rising all boasting solid claims.
Clive Cox is sending out only his second runner at the 'Garden Racecourse' in the last five years, and he could have a big chance courtesy of Fast Track Harry, who arrives on the back of a fine effort behind Amazing Journey, a horse that went on to win the International Handicap on King George Day. Fast Track Harry has already won off his current mark of 95, making him a danger to the rest of the field.
Lord Roxby heads into the race fresh from a course-and-distance victory in which he saw off the returning Dark Cloud Rising in convincing fashion. Both horses hold strong claims, with David O'Meara's runner now four pounds better off at the weights following that clash, and having already won over this course and distance in his own right. O'Meara will be bidding for a fourth success in this popular contest.
Best of the rest across the card
At Deauville, the 12.45 Group Two Prix Alec Head sees Rabbit's Foot return to action for the first time since June, when she got the better of recent Group One winner Tiffany.
The 1.33 at Deauville, the Group Two Prix Guillaume d'Ornano, brings together Daryzan and Montreal in what shapes as a fascinating tussle.
Ripon's 1.45 is a Restricted Class Two novice event worth £15,462 to the winner.
Back at Newbury, the 2.35 features the unexposed Scoville, who has been dropped two pounds for this valuable contest.
Ripon's 2.55 Silver Cup pits Go Vince Go against Educating Rita.
Deauville's 3.25, the Group Three Prix de Lieurey, includes Narissa, The Prettiest Star and Esna among its principals.
Newbury's 3.42 introduces the half-brother to Golden Story, alongside Arabian Force and Sea The Casper, on debut.
