Sky Sports Racing broadcasts live coverage of a six-race card from Ffos Las on Wednesday, with the action running from 3.37pm through to the finale at 6.10pm.
According to Ffos Las Racecourse, the fixture is run on good ground with gates opening at 14:05, and the meeting is officially billed as the track's Wednesday Afternoon August Flat Racing 2026 card. This follows on from our earlier coverage of Perfect Nation and Avionics heading a Ffos Las feature, when Flagbearer also made his debut for William Haggas at the Welsh course.
Narrjoo headlines the maiden contest
Narrjoo tops a field the original report describes as seven runners in the Meyer Timber EBF Maiden Stakes, though according to Racing TV's racecard, the two-year-old-only event over 7f 80y in fact features 14 runners, with winner's prize money set at £7,020.
Simon and Ed Crisford's colt was runner-up to the exciting Godolphin newcomer Jassas on his debut at Doncaster last month, and he will take some beating if he reproduces that form. The 200,000gns son of Ten Sovereigns already holds future entries in the Champagne Stakes and the Goffs Million, underlining the regard in which he is held at Gainsborough Stables.
Drum Bay and Isabella de Vega both also impressed on their respective introductions and look set to give Narrjoo a decent test, representing Ralph Beckett and Ed Walker respectively. The most eye-catching newcomer in the line-up, though, may be the 200,000gns two-year-old Mehmas colt Engraved, who could make an immediate impact for James Fanshawe's yard on his first start.
Mystic Veil takes on Eskimo Pie
Eskimo Pie chases a maiden win in the Faucets The Bathroom Specialists Maiden Fillies' Stakes but must overcome the challenge of Mystic Veil, a half-sister to July Cup hero No Half Measures, who is stepping out for the first time.
Eskimo Pie ran a respectable seventh in this year's Queen Mary Stakes before going lame in the Princess Margaret at the end of her juvenile campaign. Her first run back at three showed promise, but she then failed to build on it in her following two starts, and was bumped when trying to force her way into contention at Newmarket last time. At her best, she sets the standard among this field for trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam.
Ed Walker's filly Mollstar produced a fair effort on her third career start before reportedly coming home lame after running in December. She returns from a lay-off here and, ridden by Ashley Lewis, looks an interesting runner to consider.
Mystic Veil's family connection to a Group One-winning sprinter makes her one to watch closely, and with Archie Watson's strong record with juveniles, punters would do well to monitor the market in the build-up. Dixie Blue, a daughter of Starspangledbanner, also debuts, while Livvy's Edge rounds out the five-strong field.
Belle Of Kt eyes a hat-trick
The card's finale, the Dress For The Occasions Handicap, sees Belle Of Kt bidding for a third consecutive win. Per At The Races, this is a Class 6 contest run over 1m 3f 209y with six declared runners and winner's prize money of £3,454.
The consistent mare has been in improved form recently, chalking up back-to-back victories inside an eight-day spell. Her narrow, nose-margin success last time out suggested she did not have a great deal in hand, but she should still put up a strong bid for a third straight win, with Millie Wonnacott's 5lb claim potentially proving decisive.
A Daughters Love looks the biggest danger following an effortless 10-length success on her return to a lower grade last time out. She clearly relishes this course and distance, though she has been raised 6lb in the weights as a result of that win.
Noble Grace is another to have won over this course and distance in the past fortnight, doing so in a far tighter finish after a determined battle to the line.

Between the races detailed above, the card also includes a 17:10 contest now listed by Racing TV as the Dandara Homes Handicap, a 1m race for three-year-olds and up. Sporting Life's live racecard shows ten runners declared, including Nammos, Angel's Call, Kev, Rival, Oviedo, King of The Dance, Uncle Albert, Change Of Fortune, Ivat Ghia and Big Moonrise. Separately, Racing TV lists the 16:07 race under the title Birthday Boy Leighton Happy 80th Handicap, a name not referenced in earlier previews of the card. The meeting then concludes with the 18:10 Dress For The Occasions Handicap, in which Belle Of Kt attempts her hat-trick.
