Eskimo Pie will bid for a maiden success in the 3.37 Faucets The Bathroom Specialists Maiden Fillies' Stakes, but she faces a stiff task in the shape of debutante Mystic Veil, half-sister to July Cup hero No Half Measures.
Eskimo Pie ran a fine seventh in the 2025 Queen Mary Stakes before going lame in her final juvenile start, the Princess Margaret. Her first outing at three showed promise, though she then underperformed across her next two starts. She was bumped when attempting to challenge on her most recent run at Newmarket, and remains the benchmark for Jane Chapple-Hyam's yard at her best.
Ed Walker's Mollstar posted a decent effort on her third career start before reportedly being found lame after running in December. She returns from a break here and, with Ashley Lewis on board, is worth keeping on side.
Mystic Veil's trainer Archie Watson has a well-earned reputation for getting juveniles firing first time out, and she could easily open her account on debut - punters would do well to keep an eye on the market in the build-up.
Dixie Blue, a daughter of Starspangledbanner, also has her first start in this race, while Livvy's Edge rounds out the five-strong field.
Belle Of Kt eyes hat-trick in finale
The card is brought to a close by the 6.10 Dress For The Occasions Handicap, in which Belle Of Kt chases a third straight victory. Confirming the closing race's billing, At The Races lists it as a Class 6 contest for three-year-olds and upwards run over 1m 3f 209y.
Belle Of Kt has been in fine form of late, winning a couple of races within eight days of each other. Her most recent success came by a nose, suggesting she did not have a great deal in hand, but she should still give another bold showing as she goes for the hat-trick, with Millie Wonnacott's 5lb claim potentially proving decisive.
A Daughters Love arrives on the back of a facile 10-length success when dropped in grade last time out, and clearly relishes this course and distance, though she has been hiked up 6lb for that win.
Noble Grace also landed a course-and-distance victory just a fortnight ago, doing so in altogether different fashion - grinding out a hard-fought finish rather than cruising home.
This card follows on from a recent feature at the same track, where Perfect Nation and Avionics headlined the Ffos Las feature, alongside a William Haggas debutant and a clash between Taritino and Tabasko at Lingfield.
