Privacy and interaction on WhatsApp channels
Your phone number remains private when you follow a Sky Sports channel. Unlike traditional WhatsApp conversations, channel followers cannot see each other's contact details, and your subscription is completely anonymous to other users.
While you can participate by voting in polls and reacting with emojis to content, WhatsApp channels don't permit direct message replies to the content Sky Sports sends. This one-way communication model keeps the channel focused and prevents spam.

The Sky Sports app provides granular control over which sports, competitions, and story types trigger notifications, allowing you to tailor your experience to your interests.
